Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) was played by John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

John only pretended to turn into the Pawn at the flash of the tarot card to trick Konstantin into giving him more information-but a side effect happened-now John’s having flashbacks?

Konstantin accused John of being Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) pawn, not Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) assassin. But how Konstantin found the Pagoda tarot card used to brainwash John back in the day is anyone’s guess-but as far as the past confrontation, it happened.

Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) originally used the tarot card to brainwash John, so it’s very possible that Konstantin could have worked for Megan more recently.

Apparently John as the Pawn killed a woman Konstantin loved, perhaps a wife named Katarina (Ellie Patrikios) and that’s the reason for Konstantin’s revenge. This is a different woman than Carly Manning whose real name was Katarina Von Leuschner (Crystal Chappell).

DOOL Spoilers: A Message Of Death

Konstantin told John that he brought him a message of death in Aria, the area where he and Katarina lived-as the Pawn. Konstantin told him he shot Katarina to death right in front of his eyes-the only good thing in Konstantin’s sad life.

Nothing he told John seemed to strike a chord with him but he continued to play along, and when he flashed the tarot card, John “appeared” to change-and obey orders.

First Konstantin told him to pick up a garbage can, which he did, then ordered him to shoot himself-John held the gun up to his head but Konstantin cancelled the order.

Konstantin left, and John suddenly changed for real-he heard loud gunshots and seemed frightened, like a soldier with post-traumatic stress disorder flashbacks.

Steve had kept denying to Konstantin he’d ever been in Aria although Konstantin insisted he had-he’d seen him. But how far back that goes is a mystery-was he there when John as the Pawn killed Katarina?

John will keep this whole meeting with Konstantin secret from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) but she’ll know something’s off with her husband and worry.

Steve will be concerned what to do next for his friend, but all he knows is Konstantin is far more dangerous than he first believed. They must do something to solve the problem of Konstantin, lest he learn how to use the tarot card to turn John back into the pawn for real!
