According to Ashley, Tucker became a caveman, yelling violently, breaking a glass, and throwing a chair. Or so she says. She told her fam that she was scared out of her wits by his crazed display of anger and had never seen him like that before.

Everyone accepted her story because they hate Tucker. To be clear, Tucker has been painted into a corner, and he needs a redemption story. Could it be the classic soapy excuse that a brain tumor or dementia is causing his wicked ways?

Tucker’s tale of that night is quite different. He claims he bumped into a chair and spilled his wine, and denies acting viciously. Soaps don’t introduce random plot points for no reason.

Right now Tucker is alone on his island. His son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) despises him and Ashley fears him.

Even Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) low moral standard has kept her from working with him. And, the person who is closest to him, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), seems ready to jump ship any minute and team with someone who has a better offer.
