The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Audra’s Mother Coming To GC, Explosive Mama Drama Too Hot To Handle?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) spilled some info about her past to a clearly distressed Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in the January 4 episode.

Audra talked about her alcoholic father who lost his battle with the bottle.

Nikki told Audra it must have been awful to witness his decline. But, in the end she rejected Audra’s offer to listen to her woes, and gave her an icy stare instead.

Of course Nikki is right not to trust Audra who is ladder climbing vixen.

But it was interesting that the show allowed Audra to talk about her past, since we know very little about it other than that she dated Nikki’s grandson Noah Newman (Rory Gibson). Is the show planning on bringing someone from the past to the screen, maybe her mother?

Y&R Spoilers: Who Is Audra’s Mother?

With a woman like Audra there is a potential goldmine to be had in exploring her history. What influences have shaped her, how did she grow up, etc.

Audra indicated she was close to her dad, but didn’t mention a mother—are the two estranged, does she blame her for her father’s death?

If Audra’s mother is anything like her daughter she will bring a lot fireworks to the screen and shake up the town.

While Audra is a hot mess, she is also calculating and plays the long game. Usually parent-child friction comes from deep-seated issues so if Audra blames her mom for her the loss of her father she likely is still carrying a lot of anger toward her.

If Audra’s mom suddenly pops up without warning, Audra could freak out as she likes to control all of the details. Then again it would be mighty interesting if her mom and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) have a connection.

Maybe Tucker was her mom’s boyfriend initially? He talks almost as if he raised her to be the woman she is today, a juicy betrayal story would have all kinds of storytelling possibilities.

Even better, if Audra’s mom is just like her she could come to GC looking for opportunities, which might pit mother and daughter against each other for the town’s resources—including its men!
