The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) tease that soooo many people are not on board with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) relationship. Included in the cabal against these two is his sister Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). She’s acting like an overwrought mom, demanding that Hope say she’s in love with the designer or else dump him.

Fans were quick to note another one of her concerns during her most recent rant, and that has opened up a can of worms, namely how will a failure of their relationship affect their son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri)?

Hope has also had to defend her romance with Thomas to her mom, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and his dad Ridge Forrester (Thorsen Kaye). But when arguing with Steffy, the subject of young Douglas was brought up.

Douglas has never stopped wanting his parents to reunite and so he’s super happy that they are seeing one another. He knows that they are spending time together and he’s probably hoping that they can be a family under the same roof.

But what happens if Thomas and Hope split up? Steffy fears that Thomas’ past obsession with Hope could ruin things for the couple, but no one else has mentioned the effect it would have on Douglas.

Steffy’s concern for Douglas could be a huge hint about a new plot point. Douglas has always been an angel, but he has seen, and been the victim of, Thomas’ dark and manipulative behavior. If things go south between his parents, will that be enough to bring out a shady side of the impressionable boy?
