General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Can Forgive Michael, But Willow Won’t

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may have accepted it was Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) who told the FEC about her would-be insider trading move with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but she had no idea that her baby boy knew about it for months and said nothing — until now.

Using it to gain leverage over Nina instead, Michael kept her secret in hopes of keeping her away from Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and their kids.

Now, the truth has been revealed and Carly will have to come to grips with the reality that her firstborn son betrayed her in such a brutal way.

Not so surprisingly, it won’t throw Carly that far off track. Drew may not be keen on what Michael has done, but Carly will find a way to understand her son’s well-intentioned motives. It’s too bad for him that Willow won’t.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Truth Is All The Way Out

Hearing that Michael knew what Nina did and kept it to himself had to cut Carly deep. The emotion in her eyes practically came through the screen.

With no way to put this back in the bottle and pretend it didn’t happen, Carly may be forced to remain a little more objective about Nina than she had hoped.

Sure, Nina is far guiltier than Michael, but he was complicit in the cover-up, and Carly will struggle to forget that when it appears Drew is unwilling to.

GH Spoilers Hint Carly Bounces Back

Carly and Michael are going to have a tough road ahead to navigate, but they’ll do it. She meant what she said in the hospital chapel: Michael is her rock.

One mistake won’t negate all of the good that he’s done; a mother’s heart isn’t hardened that easily. Normally, Drew’s wouldn’t either, but he’s not quite himself lately.

As Carly comes around to giving Michael her ear and dropping her resentment over his secrecy, it’s going to become a pain point in her relationship with Drew — who just can’t seem to do the same.

General Hospital Spoilers — A Family Is Fractured

Michael can certainly tolerate Drew being angry with him. On the flip side, things have leveled out a bit more with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy living at the Q mansion in such a fractured state with Willow — who still isn’t giving him the time of day to talk things through.

It wouldn’t be the first time a couple has split up while sharing the Quartermaine grounds. We look forward to seeing how Willow and Michael make it work for their kids though while affording Willow the space she’s about to tell Michael she desperately needs away from him.
