Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Ashley Abbott’s View Of Reality Distorted? Past Mental Health Issues Resurface

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has a long history of mental health issues. It’s something she’s grappled with over the years; however, in the past decade or so, she has seemingly had it all under control.

Y&R spoilers state that while everyone knows there are always three sides to any story – her side, his side, and the truth – the stories of what happened in Paris between Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Ash, have been a tad different.

During the Thursday, December 28th show, flashbacks helped to revisit things. Yes, there was a fight, but the end of it all seemed drastically different. Ashley’s version is a whole lot “violent” than Tucker’s, with McCall throwing a chair and smashing his wine glass; while Tucker’s does show him visibly upset.

While he does storm off, he’s clearly upset, but in no way volatile to the point where Ashley should be “scared” of him. Still, when Ashley confronted him about his behavior, McCall seemed genuinely confused.

It’s hard to believe that Tucker would get violent. He’s not the nicest man in Genoa City, but violent, he is not. Due to Ash’s past issues with mental health, it’s hard for fans not to speculate that this most recent turn of events could be linked to reality distortion.

She might be viewing circumstances far different than they are happening.

Then again, Tucker may be the one dealing with mental health issues, this time around. He may end up using Ashley’s past struggles as a supporting argument that her delusions of reality are surfacing again, and he was never violent in Paris.

As the days and weeks ahead go by, fans will have to take close notice of how these two characters continue to act. Will Tucker have another outburst? Will Ashley relay a scene in which viewers witness and exaggerate circumstances? Only time will tell.
