The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Skyle fans will be getting a lump of coal in their stockings this year. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have gone their separate ways, with varying degrees of success.
Kyle is chasing after a she-devil and Summer is pining for the town do-gooder. Are those wedding bells we hear on the horizon? Wait, hear us out!
Summer has made it clear she wants a chance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). He’s left law enforcement and is dabbling in her world as a high-end businessman. They have a lot in common.
If the show is pairing these two up why wouldn’t a wedding be in the foreseeable future? Summer is impulsive and Chance just showed his impulsivity by switching careers at the drop of a hat—actually the firing of a bullet. What happens when two bold and beautiful soap characters mesh?
Chance is with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) who already feels the heat coming off Summer toward her man. But Sharon is hard launching a new business, has kids, and runs a coffee emporium.
She barely sees Chance, and Summer has a track record for fast-tracking what she wants.
Secondly, her mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) told her to go for what she wants and we all know Phyllis’ advice should be heeded.

A third reason to think there could be wedding bells ringing is that Rory Gibson (Noah Newman) posted an Instagram story showing him at the CBS studio where Y&R is filmed.
There are all sorts of reasons for Noah to come back now, but he and Summer have a close relationship and he may nudge her to go for her life’s dream seeing as that’s what he’s doing in London.
Noah will show up for his family who have been through an awful ordeal and the worst is yet to come with Jordan (Colleen Zenk) on the loose and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) a sticking point.
Given the state of turmoil going down in Genoa City, Wisconsin right now, a beautiful wedding would be just the thing to lighten everyone’s mood and brighten the cold dark winter months. Tell us Y&R fans, are you shipping Chance and Summer?
