The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Ashley Losing It, Or Is Tucker Gaslighting Her?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease either Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is losing it or Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is gaslighting her. Or, is Tucker the one that’s delusional-or is Ashley gaslighting him?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Tucker McCall Returned From His Honeymoon Alone

Tucker returned from his and Ashley’s Parisian honeymoon alone, leaving those in Genoa City to speculate they broke up there, but no one really asked anything. Ashley didn’t return until later, and there were questions from the Abbotts-she didn’t reveal a lot except confirming she and Tucker were over, and her family breathed a sigh of relief. Ashley had been grievously hurt by Tucker in the past, and no one felt they could trust him-especially not her brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Tucker’s world soon started falling apart once he returned-not only had he lost Ashley again, perhaps this time for good, but an old scandal returned to haunt him. But that’s not all that’s happening-besides being conned by Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and falling for it, Ashley accuses him of violence!

Y & R Spoilers: The Same Memory, Same Experience, Two Different Stories?

How can Tucker and Ashley both have the same memory, the same experience, and yet remember it two different ways and tell two different stories? Someone’s either lying or delusional-or one is gaslighting the other one. Tucker remembered their fight in Paris as moving a chair and setting a champagne glass down hard, although he was upset when he left the table. Ashley remembered him lashing out at her in an abusive manner and breaking the glass and throwing the chair and it being a very violent encounter. He remembers thinking Ashley wasn’t acting like a woman on her honeymoon and asking what was wrong-she remembered a fight she’d had with Jack when she took her Jabot patents back.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Could Ashley Abbott Be Suffering PTSD?

The fight with Jack wasn’t particularly violent but the rift between them was severe-and he’d flown to Paris and met with her to try and make up. Still, Ashley had breakdowns before..one in 2003 when she had a miscarriage and thought a towel she had wrapped up in her arms was the baby she lost. She went around showing baby Robert (uncast) to everyone at a large party; this was when she was still married to Brad Carlton (Don Diamont).

Could Ashley be remembering another violent fight she had with someone else, not Jack, in the past and her interaction with Tucker brought up post-traumatic stress triggers? She did live and operate her businesses in Paris for many years-or are either she or Tucker gaslighting the other one?
