General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Gaslighting Ava, Frames Her For Austin’s Murder?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that someone is trying to spook Ava Jerome (Maura West) but she’s not intimidated.

Following Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder at his out of the way house in Pautuck PA, Ava received a picture of the dead man. Could it be Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) who’s behind the grisly message? Definitely maybe!

Fans saw this: Austin walked into his home and was surprised to see someone waiting for him. He didn’t panic, and his response indicated he knew the person.

Austin’s reaction tracks with him knowing the murderer and being mildly baffled to see them there. He helped Nikolas recover after Ava conked him on the head, but Austin figured he had moved on. Still, Nikolas had been a guest in the house for weeks.

GH spoilers: Ava is Suspect

Did Nikolas kill Austin to implicate Ava? It fits his vengeful personality! In the November 30 episode, Ava received a note that said “you’re welcome” along with a gruesome photo of Austin’s dead body.

It appears that whoever killed Austin wanted to rattle Ava, perhaps sending the message that they killed Austin for her.

Then again, Austin was the one who tended to Nikolas and kept him alive. If he killed his savior that indicates that he has returned to the dark side. If Nikolas is the killer, it’s troubling to think that he would off the very person who saved his life.

But let’s not forget that Nikolas is a Cassadine and they are capable of weird and twisted actions that seemingly make zero sense. However, we know that Nikolas is indeed alive, and the presumption is that he will return to live large on the family’s dark Spoon Island.

General Hospital spoilers: Did Nikolas Eliminate Austin?

Nikolas has a singular reason to taunt and torment Ava—she tried to kill him! If it wasn’t for Laura Collins (Genie Francis) going to great lengths to track him down, Ava would still be under the impression that he’s dead.

Tell us GH fans, do you think that Nikolas is going to reveal himself as Wyndemere’s buyer and if so, will he deliver a double whammy to Ava, declaring that he is responsible for Austin’s death? This would floor Ava and be a ton to process.
