There’s no way Diane would run to Jack if she found out that Kyle has aligned with Taudra. At first, she may rip into her son about a partnership with McCall; however, once he reveals the real reason behind the scheming, which is to become Jabot’s CEO, she’d remain hush-hush about it and even do things to help him along, whether that means deflecting both Jack and Billy on matters or offering up information.

The only catch would be for him to keep quiet about her being in the know. He wouldn’t be allowed to tell Tucker, Audra, or anyone. That way, Diane could be his ace in the hole.

Plus, if she’s not implicated in things, she couldn’t be tied to the plan if things were exposed and Jack found out.
