The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Michael Damian Offers A Glimpse Into His New Christmas Movie

The Young And The Restless spoilers indicate that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) is getting into the Christmas Spirit with two projects this year. What is going on with Michael’s Christmas plans?

Michael Damian’s New Movie

The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that Michael will star in a new movie on Great American Family called A Paris Christmas Waltz. Damian joins several stars who have chosen to appear on this network after leaving Hallmark Channel.

Damian’s movie appears on November 19. Michael cowrote (and directed) this movie with his wife Janeen.

“It’s about a young woman, Emma [played by Jen Lilley, ex-Theresa, DAYS], who’s an accountant and feeling stuck in her life. This talented dancer, Leo, played by Matthew Morrison [ex-Adam, AS THE WORLD TURNS] from GLEE, is contacted by his former choreographer, and he wants Leo to dance in the Yuletide Pro Dance Competition in Paris.

The only problem: Leo doesn’t have a partner until he runs into Emma and they hit it off. He invites her to be his dance partner and he becomes her mentor.”

Y&R Spoilers: The Movie Was Shot In Paris

The movie was filmed in Paris last summer although it was supposed to take place in December. Damian says, “Believe it or not, there was actually a cold snap that hit Paris and along with some Hollywood magic it all looked very Christmas-y.

We also decorated in front of the Eiffel Tower and the Alexander Bridge, so everything looked really festive. There’s lots of music and dancing, including this MGM-like musical number that was done on a football field-length of a cobblestone street.”

Michael is certainly having a better time getting ready for Christmas than Danny who is having to deal with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) having issues with his reunion with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).

Of course, fans are looking forward to see what happens with Danny and Christine as they reunite after all these years.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Michael Damian Also Recorded A New Song

Michael also wrote and recorded a new song that is featured in the movie as well. “Christmas Time Is Here” is featured on the movie and is a single off of Michael’s new album Michael Damian Christmas Album.

Michael shares that, “There is original material as well as seven reimagined classics, like a French version of ‘Jingle Bells. Christmas Time Is Here’ can be found on Spotify now and the rest of the album will be up this weekend.”
