The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that during the week of November 27-December 1, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) meddles in her son Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) love life. Oy vey. Read on to find out if Diane triumphs or makes matters worse for lovelorn Kyle!

Diane’s intervention is an extension of her “helping” Kyle professionally. Her latest meddle has her trying to reconnect him and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) before Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) gets her hooks back in the golden boy.

That is a bit hypocritical since Diane encouraged Kyle to align with Audra and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) in pretending to take down the family business, Jabot. Diane is playing with fire!

Her plot involves Kyle should find out Tucker’s plan and spilling all to his father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Diane believes that such an action would earn Kyle the co-CEO seat he covets.

Diane also wants to protect her boy from vixen Audra who is the town bicycle.

At the same time Diane sees a future for Kyle, Summer and their boy Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez). Kyle rebounded with Audra after Summer colluded with her mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to jail Diane.

The mother-daughter duo also pretended that Phyllis was dead, and Kyle understandably is put off by the deception, even though his mom has forgiven Summer. All in all, she understands that Summer is a far better match for Kyle than man-eater Audra.

Diane has a vested interest in helping Kyle live his best life as she nearly ruined it by pretending to be dead herself once upon a time. It’s a soap thing.

So, Diane has some guilt chips she needs to get rid of, and what better way than reuniting Kyle and his lifelong love?
