According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Claire and Aunt Jordan could end up on a redemption tour after they get caught killing off the Newmans. Some fans wonder if the two will have a short stint in Genoa City. It’s possible that they might want to stick around.
The user DOOLWill posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Do you think Claire and Jordan are short-term characters or can they be redeemed? I wonder if Claire and Aunt Jordan are conceptualized as short-term characters. If they are not, it will be difficult to redeem them if this kidnapping storyline drags. TVGN will go after them with great vengeance.”
Fans took to the thread to react. Most agreed that it’s too soon to tell whether Aunt Jordan and Claire will stick around in town.
This storyline needs to play out more to see where their fate lies. According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, the Newman family is being held captive and could possibly be drugged.
One fan noted: “I do not think there is any path for redemption for either of these characters, Claire or Jordan. Both appear to be psychopaths. There is no going back from that.”
Another user commented: “I definitely don’t think Claire can be redeemed after pumping Nikki up with alcohol like she did… that was such a terrible thing to do to a recovering alcoholic! I haven’t seen Aunt Jordan yet just in previews but she is probably unredeemable too!”

One fan argued: “That would be a NO for me…too many useless characters on the show now as it is.”
Another user wrote: “I love the actress. It seems that the character she is playing is a villain so I do not see her long-term… She would be a real asset to the show though if in another role.”
