General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Surprise Visit, Drew Is Free!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have a much welcomed, if not anticipated, visit at Kelly’s.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) shows up in a surprise visit that practically knocks her off her feet, after not being able to get any information except he’d been put in solitary.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sweeping Under The Rug Translated To Swept Out Of The Prison

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) had used the power of the press, threatening to expose Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue) for questionable dealings.

All Alexis had found out is that Kim had pulled Drew’s case file, and Carly found out Drew was in solitary, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) opining it was for Drew’s safety.

Meanwhile, the powers that be at Pentonville wanted to get this situation swept under the rug as soon as possible, and that translated to Drew being swept out of prison quickly!

Carly is beyond surprised and in tears when she sees Drew walk through the door at Kelly’s, and he explains he was just as surprised.

Drew was told nothing except he did know he was in solitary for his own protection, and Carly explains what she and Alexis did regarding Kim.

GH Spoilers: Drew Cain A Little Worse For The Wear, But Happy

Drew is a little worse for the wear but happy to be out…admittedly enough, the beating within an inch of his life took a physical as well as emotional toll.

But he also has realized that life can be short-much too short, and not necessarily meaning in a good way, either-he’s definitely aware of needing to protect himself and his family.

He realizes that perceived peace can be more of a cease-fire and one cannot assume the future’s a given; he has to watch his own back and those of his family.

However, he relishes the freedom he has now and the chance to reconnect with friends and family-his next stop is Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).

General Hospital Spoilers: Sam McCall And Scout Cain Are Overjoyed

Sam and Scout are overjoyed when Drew shows up at the penthouse, even though with Scout it’s a delayed reaction of sorts because she’s asleep.

However, Sam wakes her up and she’s overjoyed to see her dad-and has the candy for him she saved at Halloween, which is a nice change from prison food!

They spend the whole day together and go to get pancakes which is another of Drew’s favorite foods as well as Scout’s.

Drew’s last stop is to see Alexis, who he now knows was instrumental in securing his early release. He brings Scout along with him as well, because he can’t stand to be separated from his daughter for even a minute-besides, Alexis is her grandma!
