Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Clyde Weston (James Read) might decide on a new dynamic drug duo in Salem.

Clyde originally was going to force EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) back into running his crooked drug business in Salem, but Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) took his leverage.

When Ava remembered Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) was alive, and she and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) found EJ’s mom, it took away Clyde’s leverage.

Now Clyde is leveraging Ava to work for him with threats to kill her son, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) but she still needs a partner. With Clyde’s henchman Gil Carter (David S. Lee) her boss, Clyde might strike on another DiMera brother to do his dirty work.

With Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) having lost his wife Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) into the prison system he’ll need a new story to play out.

Ava has to balance cooking for the restaurant with possibly cooking drugs as well, you never know what Clyde might have up his sleeve.

DOOL Spoilers: Clyde Weston Has Power In Statesville

The last time Gabi was in prison she was beaten so badly she cannot have children anymore, and if she doesn’t have a protector, she could easily be killed.

While Stefan will likely fight an ongoing battle to clear her name-albeit she’ll return as a different Gabi, with Camila Banus leaving-Clyde can use that to control him.

Clyde has just as much power over the women’s side of Statesville as he does over the men’s. Stefan knows about Ava being forced to work for Clyde, with the Bistro as a drug front-Clyde will call him about it himself, and he wouldn’t tell Stefan for no reason.

In fact, Clyde gives him the message for Ava about it becoming more than a drug front-perhaps an operation to funnel stolen goods and other illegal businesses through.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Clyde Weston Might Want A Backup Henchman

There’s also the possibility that Clyde might want a backup henchman that can pull off being a legitimate businessman like Gil can-just in case Gil needs replacing.

Stefan might easily fill that bill, with the upper class elegant look that he has-plus he’s well known in Salem and somewhat respected.

Of course, it could get a bit complicated for Stefan to run DiMera Enterprises and Clyde’s drug business at the same time, and besides, EJ is the new district attorney!

Harris Michaels will continue to date Ava and be concerned about her job-perhaps because Gil looks kind of hinky! In fact, he’ll be in danger hanging around Ava, at some point being shot in an alley when he’s with her!
