The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will keep a secret from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that’s a big one.

Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) are moving back from overseas where Heather’s wrapping up her work, but not to Savannah-to Genoa City!

Daniel knows that Lily is insecure in their relationship, and she’s intimidated by Heather, because they share a child, Lucy. A child would be something that she and Daniel would never be able to have together, and his daughter is very important to him. If they are moving to Genoa City, Heather and Daniel will be constantly interacting because of Lucy, and whether she’s imagining it or not, Lily senses a bond.

Daniel loves Lily, his first love, but he doesn’t want to rock the boat and get her off-center because of Heather and Lucy moving home. But keeping secrets from her is probably not the best plan, that’s what broke up her and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Daniel realizes that once Heather and Lucy make the move, Lily’s bound to find out-but what he can do is keep secret that Heather told him. He can pretend to be as surprised as everyone else seeing them around town but he does have to be careful, especially around Lucy.

Lucy can’t think that he lied to Lily about her and her mom moving back, because of their history, when he was drinking and let her and Heather down. If Lily sees Heather or Lily when he is not with her, then he doesn’t have to act like he didn’t know-admittedly, Daniel is being a little paranoid about the move!

Daniel is happy that his dad’s in town too-Daniel Romalotti (Michael Damian) and he’ll be around for longer this time. Daniel would be behooved to ask his dad’s advice about keeping Heather and Lucy’s move a secret from Lily-he’d probably advise him not to!

Because if Daniel keeps this a secret and Lily finds out he kept the secret, she won’t trust him that he’s not keeping even worse secrets.

Lily’s been burned in the past by secrets, and it would be better if Daniel just told her before Heather and Lucy move, and she finds out he knew. After all, it makes perfect sense for Heather to give Daniel a heads up because of Lucy-not because of any reconciliation hopes.
