The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Finds Out Eric Is Dying – Will He Throw The Showdown Results So Eric Wins?

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and rumors tease once Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) finds out Eric Forrester (John McCook) is dying, he’ll get a better understanding of Eric’s recent behavior.

Ridge will be devastated and heartbroken to learn Eric has only a few months to live, might he throw the Fashion Showdown results so they show Eric’s the winner?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: The Forresters In Tears

In the most recent Bold and Beautiful promo, Ridge is in tears, as are Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and RJ Forrester, (Joshua Hoffman) who’s just told his mother.

RJ has been keeping Eric’s secret as he’s literally given his grandfather a helping hand to complete his Grand Finale line for at least a couple of months.

At first, Eric’s drawing hand started shaking, and he became weak and it cramped, and he minimized the symptoms, attributing them to carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis.

But as time went on it became apparent there was something much more serious going on, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) witnessing Eric coughing up blood.

Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) finally had a diagnosis and prognosis, and the condition, or possibly concurrent conditions are terminal.

B & B Spoilers: The Man Who Gave Him Everything Is Dying

Naturally, once Brooke learned the devastating diagnosis from RJ, who couldn’t hold it in any longer, she tells Ridge. Ridge is in shock, and can’t believe the man who gave him everything is dying.

Here they are in the midst of a fashion showdown, where he and Eric are competing against each other, although the guests and buyers aren’t told that.

No wonder Eric refers to this line as his “Grand Finale” in spite of claiming he would not step down or retire, even accusing Ridge of trying to force him to.

And it all started over Ridge throwing out an old stapler, that he didn’t realize Eric was so attached to-apparently it was a symbol of his legacy to him. Ridge knows what he must do to make sure his father’s last fashion show is his best and to honor him.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Talks To Carter Walton

Carter knows who the winner of the fashion challenge is, and Ridge talks to him after finding out Eric’s dying-both of their lines are exquisite, Ridge’s more modern, Eric’s more classic.

It’s the best of both fashion worlds but swears Carter to secrecy when he shares Eric’s situation and that he wants to concede the win to his dying father. That is, if Ridge indeed is the winner, or even if it happens to be a tie; he knows his father needs that one last win.

Carter, as everyone who’s in the know about Eric’s terminal condition, is sworn to secrecy about it as well and he is equally saddened. The winner is announced, and father and son share a very emotional moment.
