The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) made a rash decision. Despite his history of betraying his wife’s trust and receiving her forgiveness and second chances, Liam demanded a divorce after she made one serious mistake.

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) arguably began breaking her marriage vows during the period when she was willfully engaging in romantic thoughts about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

She clearly violated the oath she made to Liam when he saw her kissing Thomas by the Coliseum in Rome, Italy.

Liam’s reaction was natural. He was shocked, hurt, upset, and angered. But Hope was stunned that he so quickly chose to end their most recent marriage based on what happened.

Hope for the Future sank quickly without its lead designer. But Thomas’ rehire proved to be a boon, with the fashion world cheering his passionate designs. So, Hope was grateful to Thomas and simultaneously began to fall for him.

Hope lashed out at her mother in the recent past, coldly saying she was glad not to be like her. That happened because wild thoughts began to cloud Hope’s mind and she did not know how to handle them.

Beyond Brooke’s infamous backstory, Liam’s pattern of instability produced an unseen effect. While he and Hope reconciled many times and she said he was forgiven, the emotional scars were lasting.

Thomas only has eyes for Hope. Liam split his romantic vision between her and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), with his greater love seeming to be Wood’s character.

Hope reached a breaking point this summer and decided to alter her pattern of behavior. The choice was not logical but based on her gut.

Liam and Hope share a child, Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza). They were also raising Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), with Liam embracing the stepfather role. So, Liam will always be part of Hope’s life just as he is part of Steffy’s, and both ladies embrace that reality.

News that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is involved with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) generates Liam’s concern for Hope. But it also puts Liam and Thomas in each other’s paths once more and that means good drama on B&B.
