General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Warm Reunion-He And Lois Talk Over Old Bensonhurst Times?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a warm reunion-Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will finally get around to visiting him. They’ll talk about things from the past and things in the present, they haven’t seen each other in years.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Got His Pozzulo’s Recipes From Lois Cerullo’s Mom

Sonny, Lois, and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) all grew up in the same neighborhood, Bensonhurst in Brooklyn, New York. Sonny learned how to cook from Lois’ mother and uses her recipes in Pozzulo’s, his Italian restaurant.

Lois was co-owner of L & B Records, with Sonny’s old girlfriend Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) representing the “B” back in the day-also the label Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) recorded for.

Sonny’s and Lois’ history explains why Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) calls Sonny “uncle” even though they’re not related. It’s like old home week at Sonny’s office when Lois drops by to see him.

GH Spoilers: From The Past To The Present

Of course, they talk about Ned Quartermaine/Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) and Sonny’s taking care of him when he couldn’t stand to be in the Quartermaine mansion.

Who could blame him, with Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) threats to have him committed because of his strange case of amnesia-he sees himself as Eddie but hasn’t had memories to match.

So, the Eddie part isn’t coming from the same part of his brain as any memories, he thought Lois looked familiar but had no actual memories so far. Olivia showed him old photos of him with Lois and all Eddie recognized was his old black guitar-although he’s relearned some Idle Rich songs recently.

He’s staying at the mansion more often now but still doesn’t remember his mother or daughter, but his music somehow stayed intact-that’s a puzzler!

General Hospital Spoilers: Back To The Present

Lois encourages Sonny that everything will work out for him with his new marriage and the dysfunction in his family is nothing compared to the Quartermaines’!

Sonny knows that, of course, but it’s been a rough time for the past couple of years and tells Lois about when he had amnesia and knew himself as “Mike”.

In his case, his Sonny memories came back all at once after a blow to the head but he remembered both his time as his alter ego Mike and as Sonny.

It’s a bit different situation than Ned’s, but still, he can relate-he thinks that both Ned and the original Eddie are in there somewhere. Lois agrees, although dealing with a different Eddie than she was married to has been a little weird!
