In the five years that Sasha has been in Port Chuck, her life has been a series of misadventures. She came to town to trick Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) into believing she was her presumed dead daughter.

Maybe The Past Five Years Have Been Karmic Payback?

Sasha eventually straightened her life out only to have it kink up multiple times. She and her husband Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) got married while she was high as a kite, addicted to pills, but eventually worked through her deception and addiction.

Later she became pregnant but tragically they lost their baby, Liam. Next Brando was murdered, and all of this loss sent Sasha into another drug-fueled spiral.

Long story short, Sasha seemed to be getting her life together finally. Then her MIL Gladys Corbin was made her legal guardian and the nasty lady’s actions nearly got Sasha killed.

Cody was her knight in shining armor, and after he rescued her, many fans thought they would connect on a deeper level.

But last week Sasha told Cody that she is leaving for Austin, and the movers were coming the next day to get her things. Is this a final goodbye for Sasha? The actress is likely going on maternity leave but thus far neither she nor the show have commented on her status.

Sofia has gone on maternity leave before, and came back to the show. Without any official word about her storyline, it’s most likely that Sasha will once again return to PC.

And this time around she has a wonderful storyline waiting for her, if the show gives Cody and Sasha a happily ever after.
