Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers imply that there could be trouble in paradise for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) during the week of October 16th.

Abigail Deveraux’s (Marci Miller) birthday will roll around, and Chad will want to go visit her grave, alone; however, while Stephanie will understand his perspective, she will be a little hurt.

Days spoilers for the week of October 16th suggest that Abigail’s birthday will stir up memories for Chad about the love for his late wife, prompting him to visit her grave and Stephanie will ask to come along; however, he will decline. Actor Billy Flynn talks to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently, relaying his character’s current state of mind.

Flynn notes that while Chad is trying to be honest with Stephanie, he’s not being completely open about his feelings. He doesn’t “feel” right bringing his girlfriend to Abigail’s grave, and he’s keeping that close to his vest but doesn’t exactly know how to address it.

The actor goes on to say that because Chad isn’t being completely open about this to Stephanie, this has him second-guessing “the next” step for them.

The “marriage” word has been thrown around a lot lately in this storyline, ever since Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) opened up the proverbial can of worms by asking the couple when they were planning to tie the knot.

This has added speculation that maybe Stephanie is ready to walk down the aisle, but Chad is not. The “wedding” topic itself has him reflecting on the marriage he shared with Abigail.

Billy states that this will be an obstacle for the super couple moving forward. Chad may not be ready to move on to marriage just yet, and the way he lost his late wife could also have him building walls around his current girlfriend, in fear of losing her the same traumatic way.
