General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Forsakes Himself For Michael With Massive Entrapment Confession

General Hospital spoilers spill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) didn’t appear to be surprised or all that moved by Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) recent declaration of love.

What sounded like a confession revealed few details of anything Michael had actually done wrong — apart from wanting the worst for his father.

Seeing Sonny standing in a courtroom facing a judge affirmed for Michael that it was the last thing he wanted for any of his family, but Sonny could sense that more was on his son’s mind — and perhaps on the tip of his tongue.

What Michael wasn’t saying was how guilty he felt for potentially putting wheels in motion that could take down his father. The closer Sonny moves toward unearthing that secret, the more Michael will sweat the truth.

That’s where Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) comes in. Fans are starting to wonder if Dex is as genuine as he appears, but rumor has it he’s about to prove himself in a pretty big way.

Sonny isn’t going to rest until he gets to the bottom of why his son is feeling so fishy about his feelings. Merely wanting bad things to happen to his dad is a far cry from enacting them, and it’s hard for Sonny to connect the dots when he’s constructing a picture he doesn’t want to see.

Sonny already knows someone is out to get him and that there is probably a mole in his organization at some level, but he’s going to have a difficult time connecting anyone to Michael — until he turns his head in Dex’s direction.

It seems that Dex really has stepped into the role of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). That’s the only other person we can imagine putting himself at such risk for the betterment of Sonny’s family.

The last thing anyone wants to see is Sonny at odds with his children, but no one knew Dex cared this much. When it looks like Michael is ready to buckle under pressure and tell his dad the truth, Dex could come up with the most fantastic of stories to throw him off Michael’s scent — even if it turns Sonny in his direction.
