Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Theresa’s Forgery Scheme Changes Lives Forever

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Victor Kiriakis (the late John Aniston) died before he could reveal the identity of the son he refused to acknowledge. But he apparently revealed the truth in not just his will, but the mysterious letter that accompanied it.

Victor left half of his estate to Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) and the other half to the secret son. Victor referred to a letter written by the mother of Victor’s unknown son.

When Maggie read the letter to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), the signature on the final page revealed that the women was the late Anjelica Devereaux (Morgan Fairchild). That means that Victor is Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) father and Justin is not.

According to the letter, Anjelica and Victor agreed that Alex would be raised by Justin. Justin was to never learn the truth and would raise Alex as his own beside his other children.

It’s unclear why either Victor or Anjelica wouldn’t want Alex to claim his birthright. Anjelica never really stopped loving Justin, and she always held out hope that they would reunited.

If Justin discovered that Alex wasn’t his, it would sever the only connection between them. Victor , on the other hand, might believe that Justin would be a better father.

Victor had a difficult time showing emotion to his children. Instead, he typically would pit them against one another and encourage them to be ruthless in business..

But perhaps Alex isn’t Victor’s son after all. As viewers know, Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) took possession of Victor’s briefcase that was recovered from the wreckage of Victor’s private jet.

Shane arrived in Greece, intending to give the briefcase to Alex. But he was shocked to find his daughter Theresa Donovan (Jennifer Lilley) holed up in Alex’s hotel room.

Since the briefcase was locked, Shane decided to leave the briefcase with Theresa, who was alone in that hotel room for several hours.

Theresa hasn’t always been the most honest person, and she may have decided to pick the lock. Theresa knew that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Alex were there to find Victor’s will.

Theresa has recently started a flirtation with Alex, which started because she wanted to make Brady jealous. But there was an attraction between them from the start.

So if Theresa did open the briefcase, she might have discovered that Victor’s secret son was a different person entirely. All she would have to do is change out the signature page from Anjelica to the name of Xander Cook’s (Paul Tefler) mother. Alex and Xander share the same first name so it may have been easy for Theresa to make that change.

Theresa also hates Xander and blames him for Brady’s decision to sever their romantic relationship. Theresa might have made sure that Alex becomes very rich, while Xander goes through life without knowing any different.

But Theresa may not have taken into account just how much it will hurt Justin if he believes that Alex isn’t his son and never was!
