The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has regrouped. She took some time, following the miscarriage of the daughter she and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) were expecting, and appears ready to make a life with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and start a new career with Newman Enterprises.
Adam was crushed following the loss of Ava Hope. But she was never to see the world. Ava’s sad end devastated Sally, who was a first-time mother.
But Sally is resilient and, after visiting with her sister and grandmother, returned refreshed and ready to resume life in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Per her family’s advice, she is finally showing compassion to Adam, who appears not to be a current threat.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Remains Right
Adam was the Newman brother Sally wanted initially. As devoted fans recall, Sally ran after Adam for months after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) chose not to pursue a relationship with her.
But things turned hard after Adam agreed to be with Sally. His self-destructive personality and ability to drag whoever he is connected to down the drain with him proved too much.
Sally did not break from Adam intending to couple with Nick. That relationship happened naturally. The friendship they formed grew along with respect, which has only increased in recent weeks.
The Young And The Restless Updates – Adam Newman Has Other Fish To Fry
Yes, Adam still loves Sally. But he accepts that Nick is her guy. Adam also projected a far more mature outlook during the pregnancy and through the miscarriage.
Adam is intent on proving himself worthy. The newest make-good venture Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) proposed offers intriguing opportunities but includes a few fail-safes.
Grouping Adam with Nick and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is classic Moustache. That also makes for engaging drama at Adustus or whatever its new name will be.
Sally Spectra Accepts Legitimate Offer
Sally was insulted and incensed that Victor offered to provide money so she could start a design business with some catches. She had to leave GC and her baby behind.
At that point in the plot, Nick told Sally Victor was indubitably testing her. She passed that mark while also relaying the story to Adam.
The above made Victor’s condolences about Ava real. His perspective changed, and with that, he also made a new offer.
So, Sally’s agreement to head Newman Enterprises’ new design division put all of the players back under Victor’s corporate umbrella. His goal is to tap their collective talents, keep his eyes on them, and have them self-police on Y&R.
