The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Adam And Nick Push Toward Goal – Victor Defers Some Family Management
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has a fragile ego and is always looking for reasons to strike back at his family. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) put Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in charge of the big brother role and added Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as an extra layer of deferral.
At this point in their middle-aged lives, Adam and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) should be well beyond coddling. But Victor’s two points of family interest require skillful handling.
The Moustache wants to ensure that the legacy business he built thrives as he remains hands-on during his senior years.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Who Is Adam Newman’s Real Family?
Of course, Adam feels Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) and his children are the only people he counts as true family. His feelings about family made the loss of Ava Hope Newman, the daughter Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were expecting, particularly hard.
Adam refuses to recognize Victor’s generosity or realize that he offered him a hand of compassion on repeated occasions. As a father, Adam should have come to see Victor’s perspective long ago.
While there have been moments of clarity, including Adam’s recent acknowledgment that Victor stuck by him when offering him the opportunity to head McCall Unlimited, the self-destructive pattern continues.
The Young And The Restless Updates – Nick Newman At A Good Point In Life
Nick’s return to Newman Enterprises was surprising based on his aversion to the corporate world across the years. Equally, as eyebrow-raising was Nick’s acceptance of Victoria pushing him aside so she could place Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in the Chief Operating Officer’s spot.
At this point in his soapy life, Nick realizes that love is most important. He and Sally are together and project toward marriage. Her next child will likely be his.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) told her son months ago that his maturity would be a strength at Newman, and it has. That factor and the others mentioned allowed Victor to wisely see Nick’s potential to help him manage Adam.
Victor Newman Remains Optimistic
Victor told Adam that he never threw him out of the family. Viewers likely sided with Adam’s opinion when recalling the various times the Moustache disowned his youngest son and cut him off.
However, Victor knows that Adam reminds him of his younger self. With that and the absence of Hope on this earth, Braeden’s character plays the only paternal role and remains optimistic that Adam will eventually see the daytime light on Y&R.
