The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) considered Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to be his enemy for years.
But their common goal of bringing Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) to justice is being followed by an unexpected opportunity for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Liam feared Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) conning Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), never believing that she was falling for him.
But just as Ridge’s perspective was dramatically reinforced when he looked through the Aventine Keyhole, so too was Liam’s when he saw Hope kissing Thomas aside of the Coliseum.
The fallout from the highly anticipated Forrester Creations’ fashion event in Rome, Italy, was mixed. Hope for the Future earned rave reviews, which led to an upsurge in business.
But the personal consequences Hope and Thomas created for Liam and others continue to resonate.
Bill thought he had Sheila. And why would Diamont’s character think otherwise considering the evidence the authorities gained through surveillance?
But Judge Evan Scott (Michael Corbett, who portrayed David Kimble on The Young and the Restless, Warren Carter on Search for Tomorrow, Michael Pavel, Junior on Ryan’s Hope, and Brent Cameron on One Life to Live) was beside himself at Sheila’s court proceeding.
Judge Scott sympathized with everyone present, except Brown’s character and her attorney, Russell (no last name known for the character portrayed by Rodney Van Johnson, a daytime veteran who played on Passions as T.C. Russell, The Young and the Restless as Trey Stark, and Port Charles as Sebastian Dupre).
But Sheila had to be set free because Bill’s connections to the government agents working the case and how Sheila offered her confession to him were deemed illegitimate.
Like Ridge, Bill values his family more than anything. That is the reason why the former foes agreed to work together to trap Sheila.
The reformed version of Diamont’s character stunned everyone when wearing the sword necklace during the period Bill was pretending to be in love with Sheila.
But he had not reverted to the Dollar Bill persona. Instead, he was playing a role, wanting to convince everyone that Sheila was part of his life.
Bill, Ridge, and the authorities failed to secure a conviction because of how Sheila was seen to have been manipulated.
Liam told Ridge when asked, that he still loves Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and always has. Kaye’s character relayed that information to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Hope’s mother wants her to reconcile with Liam to happen, with Ridge citing John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) pluses and minuses while also seeing Liam’s perspective.
Bill would seem to need to weigh in on the next chapter in the Liam and Steffy saga. Steffy no longer feels she can trust Finn, which could mean she eventually reunites with Liam. If so, Bill and Ridge would share another point of common interest in B&B.
