Little People Big World Star Matt Roloff Updates On Huny

Little People Big World (LPBW) fans heard two years ago, that Peggy (Huny) and Ron Roloff face some challenges with their health. Matt Roloff’s mom and dad were both unwell at that same time. Actually, Zach went to see them and took along little Jackson to cheer them up. Two years on, Matt gave fans an update on how his mom is doing.

Little People Big World: Matt Roloff’s Dad Ron Passed Away

When Ron fell ill, his son told TLC fans that he had blood cancer. His mom had fallen and hurt herself, and her husband needed urgent care. In fact, he was about to start chemo for his diagnosis. Ron fought his illness hard, but unfortunately, a year ago, he passed away, Of course, Matt was right there for his mom as she mourned the loss of her life’s partner. Later, the family gathered for a memorial and all the grandchildren arrived in one place, so there were some nice photos of them.

Fans met Ron and Huny on Little People Big World, but they were not permanent cast members. However, fans got to know them well enough to know that Huny seems very special. Matt is clearly the apple of her eye. Fortunately, he’s in a financial position to make sure his mom lives her golden years in peace and comfort. However, he didn’t just dump her in a senior facility.  He regularly goes to see her to check on her and update his fans. Huny isn’t seen on the TLC show at all these days, and fans appreciate it when they get some feedback.

Little People Big World: Matt Roloff Updates On Huny

On August 2, Matt took to his Instagram and shared a photo of his mom, some of her friends, and himself with Caryn Chandler. If you don’t know, Huny is in her early 80s now, but you’d never know it. Somehow, she looks the same as she did years ago. Everyone’s favorite TLC grandma seems ageless. In his caption, Matt said, “A very quick weekend trip to Arizona to be with my beautiful amazing mother on the 1 year anniversary of Ron “papa” Roloff’s sudden passing last year.”

The Little People Big World patriarch added, “Mom is doing great and continues to impress us all in her diehard commitment to live independently and continue to do God’s work in all she says and does. I have so much fun meeting all the friends she has developed at her complex and getting to know each of them and hear their incredible life.”

Love Sent To Huny

Little People Big World fans don’t all love Matt, but they do love that he keeps looking after his mom and visits her regularly. One of them said in the comments, “you and caryn are so good to your parents….so proud of huny..she’s a strong girl and she’s doing so well….looking good mama !!! safe travels matt and caryn…love.”

Similarly, another follower wrote, “God bless your mom! And such a beautiful picture!❤️”
