The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) Spoilers: Did Sheila Really Play Hero To Save Kelly, Or To Impress Finn And Steffy?

The Bold And The Beautiful: Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and rumors tease Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) may have had an ulterior motive for her heroic rescue attempt. Did she really dive into the ocean to save Kelly Spencer, (Sophia Paras McKinlay) or did she want to impress John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Kelly’s mother?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester-Finnegan Won’t Be Impressed

Sheila may want to redeem herself in a real way and become a changed woman, but the perceptions and experiences of those she’s harmed won’t make that easy. She’s claimed that too many times in the past and always reverted, and to do so now won’t be believable either-perhaps she needed something heroic to prove herself. Sheila didn’t plan to have Kelly run into the surf when she was watching her and Finn from a respectable distance, but she definitely knew he’d be there.

She had actually performed a drastic lifesaving maneuver before when Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) tried to save her from suicide, pulling her back up when she slipped. But Sheila may have thought saving Kelly’s life may make more of a statement to her mother, Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)-but she won’t be impressed.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Sheila Carter Did Seem To Act On Motherly Instincts

Though Sheila didn’t plan for this situation to happen, she did seem to act on motherly instincts, seeing a child in danger-she alerted her the moment she saw her run. Even though the actual save may have been a team effort, she didn’t act inappropriately – any mother or grandmother seeing a child walk into danger would have done the same. It may be later that she’ll try to use this incident to make herself look like a hero to Steffy and no doubt Finn is grateful she was there. Finn had to walk far enough away from her to get a good signal for the call from the hospital that he didn’t see her bolt for the ocean. Whether he could have kept his eyes on her and not had to turn away and still assist his patient, it didn’t happen and he didn’t know until Sheila rushed by.

He Didn’t Expect Her To Run

Finn told Kelly to stay where she was, and yet she got bored and with him turning away and walking a few feet, she took a sand bucket and ran for the surf! He didn’t expect that to happen but Sheila was watching and saw it happen, and if she hadn’t, Kelly could have fully drowned. Needless to say, impressed or not the mother and son worked together to save Kelly’s life, although he may wonder why she was there.

Kelly won’t be in great condition but she will be clinging to life once they get her to the hospital. Steffy, however, will likely lash out and be more concerned about Sheila’s presence than her heroic measures-she may even think Finn invited her.
