Last month this year, Hallmark Channel happily announced their upcoming holiday film for their annual “Countdown to Christmas” lineup. The movie is titled “A Merry Scottish Christmas” and has the iconic brother-sister duo, Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf, as its lead characters.

The story centers on the estranged siblings named Lindsay and Brad, who do not have the best relationship. Despite their coldness towards each other, the two are obliged to travel to Scotland to see their mother, Jo. As they spend Christmas with the matriarch, the siblings discover some family secret that might change their hearts.

During her interview, Lisa Hamilton Daly, the Executive Vice President of Hallmark Media, stated her delight about the film. “We are so excited to reunite Lacey and Scott and know our viewers will fall in love with this movie,” she told Deadline.

“The nostalgia of seeing Lacey and Scott together again onscreen is going to be a special holiday treat for our viewers,” Daly continued. The popular onscreen siblings also expressed their thrill for working together again to share a beautiful and inspiring story with the viewers.

Fans Express Their Excitement Over Chabert-Wolf Tandem

In one of her recent posts on social media, the 40-year-old actress shared a photo of herself alongside her costar, Scott Wolf. She hailed their reunion as “a dream come true” as she expressed her excitement for their upcoming film. Meanwhile, fans never cease to leave words of love in the comment section.

“A Merry Scottish Christmas” is from Synthetic Cinema International and Treehouse Media and is under the direction of Dustin Rikert. The two lead stars are also the movie’s executive producers alongside Andrew Gernhard, Edwina Forkin as producer, and Molly Mayeux as line producer.
