General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that ever since Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) leaped off of the parapet at Wyndemere, she has wanted to get away from the Cassadine family. Who could blame her? Nickolas Cassadine held the young pregnant girl hostage and threatened to take her child from her. All of this time, Esme has been working toward saving money so she can leave Port Charles and leave that family in the dust. But recently, her feelings have taken a turn in a direction she didn’t expect — Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) direction. Is Esme falling for Spencer all over again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Prince Wants Out

Esme does want out of her current situation, but that’s because she’s dependent on Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and doesn’t trust that everyone around her doesn’t have an agenda of their own. She doesn’t like the idea of being manipulated, and no one can really blame her for that either after what her mother and father have done to her. But Esme is coming to realize that she’s not making quite enough money at The Invader to get herself out of town anytime soon.

General Hospital Updates – She Also Wants Trina Robinson To Take A Hike

As Esme bides her time, working long hours and saving her paychecks, she’s going to come to see that Spencer’s relationship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is fairly strained recently. Moreover, every time Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) – or Esme – needs Spencer, he obliges and is once again pulled away from his girlfriend. Esme would probably be lying if she said she hated that. As it turns out, she’s growing pretty green with envy over Trina’s relationship with Spencer. Could that be because she wants him all to herself?

Plans Change

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has been hoping to coax Esme into leaving town in order to get Spencer to follow her, but she may not be opposed to Esme’s new plan – stealing Spencer for herself. Whatever gets Spencer away from her daughter works for Portia, right? Trina isn’t going to appreciate Portia butting into her relationship and trying to manipulate her boyfriend into leaving her. Still, Trina isn’t going to forgive Spencer just because he ditched her for Esme while blind to her schemes.
