General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sonny Suspects Gladys Isn’t Going To Follow His Request to Butt Out Of Sasha’s Business

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) put his cards on the table recently when he was visited by his cousin, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). She had come to him out of concern for Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) — worried that Sasha is trying to bite off more than she can chew by seeking to regain control of her finances. Sonny met with Sasha and heard her out; while he understands Gladys’ concerns, he didn’t find them to be as serious as Gladys has implied. Sonny has every intention of staying out of Sasha’s business, and that’s not going to float Gladys’ boat.

General Hospital Spoilers — “We’re Going to Leave Her Alone”

Sonny made it quite clear to Gladys that there was no room for negotiation. Sasha showed him nothing too concerning that warrants him stepping in and trying to prevent her from regaining control of her life. Gladys seems intent on doing just the opposite though, and she wasn’t happy to hear Sonny wouldn’t be giving her an assist. It’s a good thing for Gladys that she has someone else in her corner to rely on now.

General Hosptial Updates – Dr. Montague Relieved The Pressure

Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) offered to bail Gladys out of her massive debt with mob queen Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Gladys was happy to take the bait. Whatever the good doctor wants, he shall get, because Gladys was up the river without a paddle to pay Selina back with. Damon scratched her itch — offering to pay Selina off will relieve a great amount of pressure on Gladys’ shoulders. But she still needs to keep a tight lease on Sasha and her finances right now. There is no way Sasha will see this coming, and Gladys is going to struggle to live with herself when she witnesses the effects of her plan with Dr. Montague play out.

Gladys Corbin Digs The Hole Deeper With Selina

Gladys might have a way to clear her debt with Selina, but she’s taking on another burden — being under someone else’s thumb — in the process. Damon knows that or he wouldn’t make the deal in the first place. When he comes calling, Gladys will have to pay yet another price, and she’s going to be paying on a very personal level, too.
