Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Rafe Is Infuriated By Jada’s Promotion!

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the ranks of the Salem Police Department are dwindling fast. After Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was fired for fraternizing with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), leaving Jada and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) as the only two left. But Shawn has been suspended for drinking on the job, so he can’t fill the vacant commissioner position. That leaves Jada, who may fill in as Commissioner until a permanent replacement can be found. This turn of events likely won’t sit well with Rafe.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Mayor Abe Carver Instituted A New Rule For The Salem PD!

Over a year ago, Mayor Abe Carver (James Reynolds) instituted a new rule that prohibited fraternizing between members of the Police Force. This was around the same time Jada came on board. At first, Jada was romantically involved with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn), but that ended badly. Rafe was still smarting from his own divorce from Nicole Walker (Arianna Zucker). Even so, the attraction between Rafe and Jada became apparent to both of them as time went on. But they did their best to keep things professional as long as they could.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Rafe Hernandez And Jada Hunter Gave In To Their Attraction!

Although they kept their relationship professional for quite a while, Jada and Rafe finally gave in to their feelings for one another thanks to some advice from Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Jada and Rafe hoped to keep their relationship secret but Shawn found out about it. When Rafe had to suspend Shawn, Shawn blurted out that he knew Rafe and Jada were sleeping together. Unfortunately, this outburst was heard by the acting mayor and Rafe was fired!

Jada Hunter Has Kept Her Job!

Because Rafe was the Commissioner at the time, he was let go. Jada was able to keep her position. With Shawn out of the picture as well, there is every likelihood that Jada will be promoted, at least temporarily. This will likely not sit well with Rafe. Rafe and Jada’s relationship is still very new and it’s very likely it won’t survive if Rafe loses his job because of it. It will be even worse if Jada gets a promotion. Can this couple make things work?
