The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Finds His Mother

Never mind that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) tried to school Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) about what a horrible mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is to her adult children. She allowed them to believe she was dead for her own selfish reasons and now she is asking them to keep it quiet that she killed a man, even if it was in self-defense.

That is not what good mothers do, but it is what Daniel’s mother does and he feels he just has to accept that. He also wants to see her and follows Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) to the room Phyllis is hiding out in and mother and son are finally reunited. Summer thought that Phyllis would be angry that she told Daniel she was alive, but Phyllis is thrilled to see Daniel, which serves to make Summer jealous. It also looks like he wasn’t the only one to follow Summer.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Another Surprise Visitor

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is growing suspicious of all of these mysterious errands that Summer has to run so he decides to see what is really up and follows her straight to Phyllis’ room at The Athletic Club. At this point, Summer doesn’t know Kyle knows Phyllis is alive and Kyle doesn’t know Summer knows Phyllis is alive, but that is all about to change.

“Phyllis’ reunion with Daniel is cut short thanks to Kyle’s surprise entrance,” Head Writer Josh Griffith said in the June 5, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “This puts both Phyllis and Summer in a dangerous position as only time will tell if Kyle will expose Phyllis and cause further damage to his relationship with Summer.”

If Kyle does turn in Phyllis and leave Simmer, he is probably in the right as Phyllis did a bad, bad thing and Summer was willing to ruin her marriage because of it. And what about Daniel? Will he tolerate any more of the insanity now that his daughter is back in town?
