Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal Xander at a crossroads in his life. Could he be changing for the better again? All Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) wanted to do was make enough money for him and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to move out of Uncle Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) house and that’s when he got mixed up with the plot to kidnap Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). Everything went wrong, he lied too much, Sarah couldn’t take it anymore, and she divorced him. Of course, he has no idea she moved to Chicago while pregnant with his child.

Losing Sarah again really made Xander rethink things and his new friendship with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) has given him confidence that he could really be a good person. Now, they are platonic roommates, and co-workers, and there is a chance for something more. That is why Maggie Horton Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) latest offer throws him for a loop.

Maggie has had enough of Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) shenanigans and now he’s out of a job. Maggie needs to hire someone new at Titan and she knows Xander is her best choice. Xander is at first excited when Maggie makes him the offer, but then he realizes he may be happy where he is. He loves working with Chloe and Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) at The Spectator and thinks he may want to continue in a less lucrative job.

“Xander has to admit and explain that [returning to Totan] would not only bring him back into Maggie’s orbit, but also potentially Sarah’s,” Paul Telfer said in the June 19, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “And he really is trying to shut that chapter out of his life willfully and move on.”
