Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that both Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Xander Cook (Paul Tefler) have both been through a lot of romantic turmoil over the years. Xander has had failed relationships with both Sarah Horton (Lindsey Godfrey) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) while Chloe is getting over Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Chloe also had relationships with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) that ended up badly for one reason or another.

After Brady dumped her, Chloe fell into a relationship with Stefan. But Stefan’s feelings for Chloe weren’t real, they were part of a brainwashing scheme orchestrated by Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) who wanted Brady for herself. Stefan eventually regained his right mind and his feelings for Chloe disappeared. Having no place to live, Xander and Chloe found an apartment and decided to room together.

Being in such close quarters have caused Xander and Chloe to soften toward each other. After one particular night of closeness, Xander and Chloe shared a kiss. This is particularly troubling because not only do Chloe and Xander live together, but they work together as well for the Salem Intruder. Both living and working together can bring all sorts of trouble both personally and professionally.

But even though there is every reason for Chloe and Xander to forget their kiss and just move on, that’s not likely to happen. Being in such close proximity to each other every single day will certainly lead to a moment of weakness and then passion. But the question remains, is this just a physical attraction or could Xander and Chloe actually share a romance after all their failed attempts in the past?
