Xander has had failed relationships with both Sarah Horton (Lindsey Godfrey) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) while Chloe is getting over Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Chloe also had relationships with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) that ended up badly for one reason or another.

Stefan eventually regained his right mind and his feelings for Chloe disappeared. Having no place to live, Xander and Chloe found an apartment and decided to room together.

Being in such close quarters have caused Xander and Chloe to soften toward each other. After one particular night of closeness, Xander and Chloe shared a kiss. Both living and working together can bring all sorts of trouble both personally and professionally.

But even though there is every reason for Chloe and Xander to forget their kiss and just move on, that’s not likely to happen.
