Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – An Anniversary To Remember

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) still believes that the woman who is taking care of him is really his wife Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) despite her not being the least familiar to him. For some weird reason, she is just taking her at her word and it doesn’t occur to him that he has been lied to now for weeks.

That is until flashes of memories start and the woman he is seeing himself with looks a little like Whitley (Kim Coles) but he is sure she is not Whitley.

“Abe starts having little flashbacks and feelings, but he’s not sure if they’re true memories or not,” James Reynolds said in the June 26, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “What he does know is that his wife looks different in these flashbacks, that it’s not her. Also, some of the things she’s saying to his slide in the face of what is his current reality. If he is the mayor, then why are they living in this rathole?”

The fact that it is also Juneteenth, Abe and Paulina’s first wedding anniversary, is also nagging at Abe. He can’t get the feeling out of his head that there is something very off and familiar about the day, as well.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Abe Carver Confronts Whitley About All Of It

When Abe decides to confront his nurse/fake wife about what has been going on, she insists it is still the head injury that is getting to him. So, Abe demands to see wedding photos. Whitley has to think fast and get on the internet to find some photos of the mayor’s wedding a year ago.

She finds what she is looking for a does a little Photoshop magic to put her face on the pics instead of the real Paulina’s. That works for Abe for now and he apologizes to Whitley for doubting him.

Whitley then decides they should renew the wedding vows that they never actually took and Abe surprisingly agrees, mainly because he hopes it can help him regain more memories. Stream new episodes of Days of Our Lives weekdays on Peacock starting at 6 AM EST.
