Welcome to Plathville Season 1 introduced the kids in the family, but Lydia Plath wasn’t the main focus at the time. Instead, TLC fans saw that Olivia, who married Ethan Plath, took on Kim and her husband, Barry. At the time, the show was focused on them. In Season 2, the focus swung to Moriah and her brother Micah. By Season 3, Lydia started to get more attention. This week, the 19-year-old shared some exciting news on social media.
Like her siblings, Lydia Plath was raised in an extremely strict way by her super-religious parents. Actually, a few years ago, some TLC fans were alarmed because she set up a prayer closet and spent hours in there. It seemed that she felt terrible because her mom made her feel bad about texting a boy. Recall, she also spoke to Moriah about having an interest in a boy in one episode. Anyway, she’s still super-religious, and she has some exciting news about that.
Welcome to Plathville stars Micah, Ethan, and Moriah seem to have moved away from being such dedicated Christians. However, their younger sister moves in the direction of total dedication. She sings gospel songs and often talks about Jesus on her Instagram. Actually, her Christian followers like that she does it. These days, many people suspect that humans might be living in the end times. So, they hope that more people find Jesus before it’s too late.
This weekend, Ethan’s younger sister took to her Instagram and she seemed very excited. In her long post, she talked about “going on a discipleship training/missions trip.” Next, she advised them that the trip is run by The Jesus Journey. Actually, it’s a long “9 week disciple tour across the United States.” The aim is to try and make another generation of young people believe in Christ. Lydia said, “I am SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS, and can’t wait to see how Jesus radically changes and impacts my life.”
The Welcome to Plathville star hopes that she can be part of the mission to see the love of Jesus impact on other young people. Maybe she will sing some of her songs? Lydia also said, “I can’t even begin to say how long I’ve been wanting something exactly like this! And God brought it to me right in His timing!❤️👏🔥.” She also said that if people subscribe to her for $4.99, they can follow her journey and help to fund her adventure.
Welcome to Plathville fans who follow the Christian faith seem to be quite numerous. Lots of people loved and responded to the post. One of them wrote, “This is wonderful Lydia! Our country needs it! Praying you all can open the minds and hearts of those lost nonbelievers. Blessings on a successful mission! Praise God 🙏🏼🙌🏽.”
Another person said, “That’s amazing! I hope you guys show everyone God’s love. It’s a blessing to see many people in my generation, still go out and do mission trips! 💕”
