The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) hoped Jack Finnegan (Ted King) would respond to her. She was working an unknown angle, and it may have paid off.

It seems unlikely that TPTB would bring King back to the show and only have him appear in a few episodes. Jack’s connection to his son, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), provides plenty of plot opportunity.

Devoted viewers recall that it has been a while since Jack was last seen in Los Angeles, California. The split from Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and alienation from Finn were all Jack’s fault. He held Sheila accountable for those problems.

Those who watched B&B when Sheila first crossed over from The Young and the Restless know that the Finnegan family was non-existent in 1992. Viewers only learned in 2021 that Finn was Sheila’s son and that Jack was his father.

But the newly introduced character King played was believed to be Finn’s adoptive dad. Li was his adoptive mother. The story Jack told Li involved him knowing a woman who wanted to give her baby up for adoption.

Li never knew Jack was the father of the boy they raised. That reveal set the soapy stage for all that has happened since.

There she is, Sheila, having stated prison would never be her home again. Yet it is.

Admitting to murder while under surveillance tends to lead to incarceration. Sheila blames Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for betraying her trust and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for creating that outcome.

In Sheila’s mind, she is never wrong. That is why she felt no shame about emailing Jack, intending to use their son as manipulation.

Sheila believes her giving him Finn after he was born means Jack owes her now. No mention of what Sheila caused Jack to lose or having left Finn for dead after accidentally shooting him, intentionally shooting Steffy, and leaving them both for dead in the alley behind Il Giardino.

Jack Finnegan Forced To Defend?

Jack now blames himself for all that went wrong. He knows the affair with Sheila led to him lying to Li about Finn’s paternity.

King’s character also realizes that his connection to Sheila nearly led to Finn and Li’s deaths. He holds himself accountable and tells Sheila he will not see her again.

However, Sheila generally works many steps ahead of her intended mark. So, might she have other types of incriminating evidence about him that will force King’s character to defend her on B&B?
