General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Willow Has One Final Wish For Her Family — Will They Get It Together?

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has one dying request for two of the most powerful women she’s ever met. Knowing her time on this Earth is dwindling, Willow has set her sights on repairing the long-standing rift between her birth mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and her mother-in-law, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). The longer Willow’s cancer has worn on, and the closer to death she has become, she’s learned that what matters most is family. She’s not saying she wants Nina in her children’s lives, but she doesn’t want Nina’s presence to be a deterrence to peace and happiness around them. That doesn’t mean it’s all Nina’s fault either. Carly is on this hook, too. Will they be able to bury the hatchet in time before it’s too late?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Backstory Matters

The root of the problem started with Carly’s knowledge of Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) being Nina’s daughter. Carly chose to keep it a secret, and Nina continues to remain resentful; honestly, who can blame her? Then Carly learned that Willow was Nelle’s twin sister — and she chose to leave both Willow and Nina in the dark about it. While Willow immediately forgave Carly for that massive deception, Nina has held onto it bitterly as she watches all chances of a relationship with her only surviving daughter erode before her very eyes. With so much pent-up resentment between them, is keeping the peace even possible in this family?

General Hospital: Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)

General Hospital Updates – Willow Tait Plays Hardball

Willow knows firsthand how damaging it can be for children to be caught in the crossfire of family tension and wants nothing more than for Carly, Nina, and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to get along. Of course, she also knows exactly what she’s doing presenting Nina and Carly with a final wish for familial peace. It’s all too easy for family squabbles to turn into something more toxic, but Willow is determined to put a stop to it, first by leveraging her delicate condition as a means of getting what she wants. Do they love her enough to stop the infighting?

A Ticking Time Bomb

The problem was written all over Nina’s face when Willow issued her request that she stop fighting with Carly. Ending it all won’t be as easy as Nina wishes it was now that she’s done what she’s done by reporting Carly to the SEC. If only Willow had spoken up about her wishes a few days sooner. Timing does seem to be everything with these people, and Nina certainly knows how to pile on the bad decisions. Now, as she tries to avoid any rifts with Carly, she’ll bide her time while blanketed in paranoia that the truth is going to come out — and Willow will certainly be led to believe Nina broke her promise. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see how this pans out.

  1. […] Stella has always been pretty keen on knowing something is wrong when it comes to her family, and when her nephew T.J. looks troubled, she will push for answers. Stella is a safe space, although T.J. knows he could talk to many people about his heartache. Feeling helpless and not knowing how to make Molly feel any better about what lies ahead for them as a couple, T.J. might hope that Stella has words of comfort to offer. To be honest, though, this is a bit outside of her wheelhouse. […]
