General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Nina’s Attempt To Make Peace Will Be The First Nail In Her Coffin

General Hospital: Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers claim Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is going to be the most critical component in her own undoing as she extends an olive branch to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in hopes of calling it quits on their long-standing vendettas against one another. When Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) asked to speak with Nina, she was stunned that her daughter even wanted to be near her, much less have a private conversation with her. Approaching Willow’s hospital room with trepidation and wondering if the conversation would be heartwarming — or a lecture about how awful she was — she felt all of that melts away when Willow asked Nina to do her a favor. Anything! Nina was being given the opportunity of a lifetime to prove her devotion to her daughter. She’ll do anything to make her happy. The request? Leave Carly alone. Hearing from Willow that her final request from her mother — possibly before she dies — is that she wants her to stop being mean to her mother-in-law…well…that had to hurt. Still, what can Nina do but honor it? As she attempts to make peace with Carly, she will feel powerless to stop digging her own grave.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Commends Them Both

Carly hardly needs her ex-husband’s praise, but she’ll appreciate it nonetheless when he thanks her for accepting Nina’s apology and agreeing to move forward without another strike against her. It’s the least Carly can do for her family, which she’ll remind Sonny she did it for. This isn’t about Nina. It’s about what is best for the grandchildren and for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow. That’s it. That’s enough though — for Sonny anyway. Can Nina really live with knowing Carly will always hate her despite keeping up appearances, and that soon she may know she has a very valid new reason to?

General Hospital Updates – Peace Draws The Family Closer

It’ll be a welcomed change by all when there is no more animosity between Nina and Carly that ruins every moment. As Carly stood with Michael letting his children peer through the hospital window at their mother in isolation, Nina looked on and kept on walking, knowing she needed to let them have that space. That’s all this means for Nina. She’s going to try to be the bigger person. She just regrets that she didn’t find the motivation to be such on her own, and a few days sooner.

Rome Always Falls

It really got to Nina that she wasn’t invited to Willow and Michael’s wedding. Even the Nina haters were out there among the GH fans lamenting over it. It was pretty painful, as was watching Nina pry details about the nuptials out of others who were in attendance. Can anyone really blame her for retaliating during a weak moment? Well yes, yes they can, and they will! Sonny won’t be able to forgive this move against Carly, and we all know what that means because the guy is never single. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to learn where he ends up when Nina is no longer by his side.
