General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Nina Slips Info To Olivia, Keeps The Whistleblower Attention On Ned?

General Hospital: Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will slip some information to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Might she slip Olivia some “proof” that keeps the SEC whistleblower’s attention on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Diane Miller’s Suggestion To Carly Spencer

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) came to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house right before Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) came to give Carly the news of his and Nina’s engagement. Diane gave Carly some options for defending herself in the SEC case, none especially good-one was to turn Sonny into the Feds, as a bargaining chip. At the time, Carly refused, with the other options being she and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) lying to protect each other-she refused that as well.

When Sonny came over they had a talk, in which she told him that sometimes telling the truth is the simplest solution. Sonny being Sonny, he won’t let Carly go to prison, and he’ll double up on proving who the whistleblower is and he’ll “handle” them-perhaps force them to take back their anonymous tip.

General Hospital Updates – Sonny Corinthos Keeps No Secrets From Nina Reeves

Especially now that Sonny and Nina are engaged, he will keep no secrets from Nina other than those “business” secrets he doesn’t want her endangered by knowing. Diane hates Nina nearly as much as Carly does, and they will run into each other and clash-the usually unflappable Diane may make some threats and let something slip. Under normal circumstances she wouldn’t, considering she defended herself in the past, but Nina might get on her last nerve and she might mention Carly could turn in Sonny. She’ll bring that up to Sonny and Sonny will tell her Carly wouldn’t do that-and tell her he’s got his sources looking for the whistleblower! Nina has to circumvent the possibility of Sonny finding out it was her and keep the focus on Ned, who Sonny tells her is the most likely suspect.

General Hospital: Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero)

Nina Reeves Puts A Bug In Olivia Quartermaine’s Ear

Olivia doesn’t like or trust Nina any farther than she can throw her, which makes for an uneasy business partnership in The Metro Court at times. She won’t know whether to believe what Nina tells her or not but decides to hear her out when she says she has information about Sonny’s search for the SEC whistleblower. Olivia figured Sonny would be doing his own search to help Carly out anyway, but she already believes that her husband Ned is at fault.

Unbeknownst to Sonny, Nina, or Olivia, Ned has his own contacts searching for the real whistleblower as well, to exonerate himself. So Olivia’s ears perk up when she hears that Sonny thinks he’s got proof Ned-although Nina can’t swear to it, and of course, Olivia will go to Sonny to confirm!

  1. […] General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has asked Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to be his wife, and heads are starting to turn at the uncomfortable news. Sonny may only be Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) former stepfather, but he raised him and is the only father he’s ever really known. Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has only recently discovered that Nina is her birth mother, though she’s far from a mother figure in Willow’s eyes. Michael’s relationship with Sonny might be as strained as Willow and Nina’s is right now, but that doesn’t change the fact that Sonny and Nina’s nuptials would bring this family full circle — making Willow and Michael step-siblings or sorts. It’s not really too close for comfort in Port Charles, where everyone eventually swaps spouses, children, and lovers. But will the happy couple actually make it to saying I do? […]
