General Hospital spoilers hint Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has reached her breaking point with her brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Despite her love for him, she can’t help but feel the weight of his choices as she worries whether she’ll ever have the freedom to love her boyfriend without the fear of losing him currently coupled with it. When she confronted Michael, she let him have it and shared how upset she is about how he’s left Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in the lurch. Michael doesn’t see it that way, though. Unfortunately, she knows that her concerns fall second to Michael’s current priorities. It’s clear that his focus isn’t on Dex’s safety, but rather his own family. She doesn’t fault him for it, but she’s done putting his family ahead of her own best interests, too.

Michael Corinthos is facing an overwhelming amount of challenges in his life right now. His wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), is fighting for her life against stage four leukemia, while he also tries to navigate the responsibilities of being a father. With all of this on his plate, it’s no surprise that he simply doesn’t have the time to focus on his sister’s new boyfriend. These aren’t easy conversations to have, but Joss knows she can’t remain silent any longer. From where she sits, it’s time for Michael to take responsibility for the consequences of his behavior, no matter how difficult the conversation may be to have. However, for Michael, he knows he warned Dex about getting involved with Joss; Dex made his bed and now he gets to lie in it, right?

General Hospital Updates – Sonny Corinthos Is No Longer A Problem — For Michael Corinthos

The waters of forgiveness are sometimes murky, and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) and Michael’s relationship reflects this. Michael’s recent attempt at making amends seem to be the best he can offer at this point. Just as Sonny was certain that the invitation to his son’s wedding was Willow’s doing, he knows this olive branch is coming from Willow, through Michael. Sonny, he’s grateful for any progress toward healing their strained bond. Yet, it’s possible that Michael’s guilt over his original plan to blow Sonny’s life apart will create more problems for the family in the long run. Still, Michael may no longer want to see Sonny behind bars, but the same can’t be said for Joss.

Joss Jacks Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands

Joss can’t wait around for Michael to help her; he’s clearly not going to. Dex agreed he would stay on as an associate to Sonny while they figured out another way to get him out of the mob. So, Joss did what any caring partner would do and approached Sonny directly to ask for Dex’s freedom. However, she was met with even more resistance from Sonny, and that’s when she realized she was running out of options. Furthermore, Dex was none too pleased that she circumvented him and went straight to his boss. That’s not how he plans to handle this. But does he have any better ideas?
