The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers reveal that Katie and Bill’s problems started long before Sheila came into the picture. When Bill asked Katie to come back to him, she had broken things off because of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Bill’s tendency to leave Katie whenever he thought he had a shot with Brooke was simply too much.

Katie predicted that Bill would run straight to Brooke when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) left her. Bill did exactly what Katie thought he would do. Katie told Bill that she wanted to be the only one he loved or she couldn’t be with him. Bill is the reason that Katie isn’t with him and nothing more. Is Bill willing to change?

Katie cannot help but want to give Bill another chance even though she always gets burned when she does. Bill will be the man that Katie needs for a while. However, Bill will eventually get bored and stray, usually toward Brooke. Bill cannot commit to one woman because he gets bored too easily. And once again Bill will get all teary-eyed and promise not to do it again.

Every time Katie puts her heart out there, Bill stomps all over it. Chances are that Bill will screw up again and Katie will be forced to walk away to protect herself. Afterward, Katie will find herself wondering why and vow to never make that mistake again. Of course, there could be a chance that Bill has truly changed and that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will be the one who gets hurt this time.

Bill may have truly changed after putting himself in a position where he could be killed in his sleep. Perhaps Bill has realized what he has lost and how to hurt Katie has been by his actions. Bill has seen Katie beg him to walk away from Sheila and turned her down only to see the disappointment in her eyes. Has Katie’s reaction finally gotten through to him?

Katie knows deep down that if Bill hasn’t changed, then he is not the right man for her.
