OutDaughtered fans saw that Adam Busby went quiet on his Instagram for a few days. However, he resurfaced and shared photos of himself in Nepal. Actually, some folks were a bit surprised as he usually gets the kids out and about over spring break. Now he revealed why he’s in the country, and it’s not actually a vacation.
When photos of Nepal arrived on the TLC star’s Instagram, some people loved the nice pictures. However, others snarked about him spending money on exotic trips. One of them even accused him of profiting off his kids instead of trying to do some “hard work.” As you can imagine, he didn’t let the troll get away with that. Instead, he reminded them he and Danielle own about seven businesses. If you don’t know, he actually started working for himself long before the quints arrived.
OutDaughtered fans hate it when they see Adam and Danielle go away on a vacation or short trip. For some reason, they think it’s bad parenting. However, over the years, they explained that if they have a great relationship, then everyone benefits. Recently, Sweet Home Sextuplets alum, Courtney Waldrop said that they squeezed in some alone time and it was wonderful. Well, it now seems that Adam didn’t go to Nepal for a vacation and the news arrived via his Instagram Stories on March 14.
In his stores, Adam said that the place he was at was crowded with hundreds of people. Some of them came “from India.” Meanwhile, many of them were “Nepalese.” It turned out that they are at a Christian Conference and so many people arrived, that he said, “we might have to start moving chairs out of here because of so many people showing up.” Describing it as “unbelievable,” he said that everyone was “worshiping Jesus.”
The information from the OutDaughtered star is interesting because Nepal, which sits between India and Tibet is mostly comprised of people who follow the Hindu faith. Of course, there are Christians, and TLC fans will recall that Counting On alum, Derick Dillard worked there as a missionary. However, it seems that the Christian faith is growing in popularity in the Himalayan country.
OutDaughtered fans might not be aware that the number of Christians seems to be exploding in Nepal. According to the March edition of Christianity Today, “the spread of Christianity in the majority-Hindu country is largely credited to women.” Apparently, in the 1950s there were “no known Christians in the country. Proselytizing and conversion were prohibited.” Actually, the first Christians to start churches and missions in the country were Nepalese people “from India.”
