The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Devon Seeks Forgiveness From Amanda, Abby Insecure, Is Their Relationship In Danger?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that when Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) seeks forgiveness from Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) Abby Abbott-Newman (Melissa Ordway) might be insecure. Since Devon and Amanda have been at each other’s throats in the arbitration, and she’s attacked Abby as well, she’ll wonder if her relationship with Devon is in danger.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Forgiveness – It Makes No Sense

Such a turnaround so suddenly for Devon makes no sense to Abby-he was not backing down from wanting his father’s company back from Chancellor-Winters. She cannot blame Amanda for being bitter when she walked in on her and Devon having sex alongside Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) months and months ago. Abby probably would have felt betrayed and bitter herself, had something like that happened to her when she and Chance were still together and happy.

But for Devon to ask forgiveness now, so many months after the fact and days after he was at her throat makes no sense. She remembers how Amanda is Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin and how Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) competed with Hilary’s memory-does Abby now have to compete with Amanda?

The Young And The Restless Updates – Devon Hamilton Is A Proud Man

Abby knows that Devon is a proud man, and it takes a lot sometimes for him to admit when he’s been wrong. That is why Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) had to referee between Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) when it got uglier than a couple of warring hornet’s nests. Abby’s never seen that kind of ugly even amongst the dysfunctional Newman side of her family, and it was all because Devon wouldn’t give an inch. So what gives with asking Amanda for forgiveness now – is it a ploy to get her to quit fighting for Lily’s side-if so, Abby doesn’t like that either. It almost sounds like a Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) move and that’s really, really scary!

Does He Want Her Back?

Abby doesn’t know which is making her more insecure and upset-the thought of Devon wanting Amanda back or playing her to get his company back! It’s awkward and even though she thought they had an open and honest friendship turned romance with each other, she can’t just come out and ask him! Her fear of asking and her fear of finding out the answer isn’t a good thing.

If their communication is being hindered, then so is their trust in one another. Abby’s insecurity is getting the best of her and she doesn’t know whether to ask or whether to see how things play out.
