General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Michael’s Reasons For Calling Off His Revenge Plan Include More Than Joss Learning The Truth
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has his reasons for waffling back and forth over this massive takedown of his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). There’s a lot going on in Michael’s life. His fianceé, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), is battling a terminal illness. Their daughter was just delivered prematurely, but healthy. The ups and downs of leukemia have been rough for this couple considering the number of times they thought Willow’s life would be spared, only to find out each time that the plan of action wasn’t going to pan out. This is a time when Michael needs his family more than ever. He nearly lost his relationship with his mom, too, and that shed considerable light on how he felt about his dad. Michael has tried to bail on this revenge plan a few times, but each time, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) convinces him to stay the course. This time around, he’s got a far more compelling reason — Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) — but she’s not the only thing he’s concerned about.
General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Jacks Isn’t Ready For This
Joss is a lot more sensitive than her older brother. When Michael reminded her of the casualties that are guaranteed to be harmed in this situation and face the loss of Sonny in a different way, it was written all over Joss’ face how she really feels about this plan. Still, they’re in too deep to go back now, and if Joss is going to be involved, they need to see this through in order to keep her safe. This isn’t just about Dex anymore. That won’t make it easy on Joss when the chips fall through.
General Hospital Updates – Michael Corinthos Forgave His Mother
It hasn’t been lost on Michael how quickly he decided to forgive his mother’s latest transgression. She knew since last May when Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) died that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was Willow’s biological mother. Not only did she decide not to tell anyone, but she went to great lengths to try to make sure interested parties, like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), didn’t find out. It could’ve cost Willow her life, but Michael still embraced his mother within a day or two and swept it under the rug. He’s starting to realize he may be holding his father to a different set of standards, and he’s questioning how fair that is.
Michael Corinthos Does Love His Father
At the end of the day, Michael is hurt, but he doesn’t actually hate his father. He is tired of coming second to whatever his dad wants, though, but he does understand that his mother has just done the same thing — and it wasn’t the first time Carly put herself first. Michael may be worried about Joss and could use her as an excuse to call the whole thing off, but he knows that isn’t the only reason he’s wishing he never stoked this fire. Stay tuned for GH news and spoilers just ahead.
