General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Drew And Carly Botch Their Plan To Dupe Ned — And Michael Pays For It
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were hoping they would be able to weasel their way out from under Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) thumb by going public with their relationship and presenting him with an offer that’s too hard to refuse — Drew dipping out of the whole mix and leaving the company behind. It would delight Ned to have Drew’s shares — no doubt — especially now that Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) shares are no longer the deciding factor that trumps Q family votes. Will Ned take the bait?
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain Makes Ned Quatermaine An Irresistible Offer
When Drew offers to take himself out of the entire family business, Ned is going to be stunned. Still, Ned is a strategic thinker, and he’s not going to jump to make any rash decisions like buying Drew’s shares. He doesn’t want to fall for another one of Drew’s schemes, especially if it’s going to end up benefiting Drew more than it does him. Ned isn’t trying to go out of his way to help Drew in any way. So when Drew makes this offer, Ned might tell him he’s going to take it into consideration, but really, he’ll be trying to figure out why Drew suddenly wants out.
General Hospital Updates – Carly Corinthos And Drew Cain Go Public
At the same time, Carly and Drew are going to take their relationship to the next level by letting everyone know they’re in one. Sure, the people closest to them already knew, but they were careful not to give light on it in case the SEC came knocking. They didn’t want to lend credibility to the idea that they were romantically involved when the would-be merger that didn’t happen between Aurora Media and ELQ was being set up.
Michael Corinthos Is Caught In The Crossfire
What neither Drew nor Ned could have predicted was how their feud with each other could blow back so abruptly on Michael. Ned may not be devastated when the SEC turns their eye toward Michael, because he was culpable in trying to cut Ned out of ELQ, too, but no one wanted Michael to be tasked with this right now. He is on the brink of possibly losing Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and Ned has been intentionally setting his differences to the side while Michael tends to his fiancé. Michael probably isn’t going to see it that way. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out what happens next.
