Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) has some built-in blackmail in that marriage contract Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) signed to get his DiMera shares. If she’s unfaithful, like she plans to be with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and caught, she’ll lose the shares.

That crazy contraption Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) recently cooked up out of small kitchen appliances actually worked to deprogram Stefan’s feelings for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) out of him. So now that Gabi has Stefan’s heart and he has his memories of their love story fully, she’ll want to reunite with him fully as soon as possible.  But, there’s one little hitch to take care of before they get re-hitched-that marriage contract she signed with Li to get his DiMera shares!

Gabi can’t just keep that a secret from Stefan, so she’ll make an excuse to Li about having to do something regarding Arianna Horton (Lana Rosa). But Li might not fall for it since he may know she went to New Zealand with her dad, Will Horton (Chandler Massey).

You don’t just tell your former husband that you signed a marriage contract with your current husband for a bunch of shares with a text message. So she’ll have to figure out a way to meet with Stefan if Li calls her out on her Arianna excuse, because he will be suspicious. Somehow the two will get together in person, however, and she’d better hope that Li doesn’t follow her – since she and Stefan sit on a bench smooching outside in plain view. She didn’t even bother to read through that contract thoroughly when she signed it, since her eyes were blinded by dollar signs. The contract plainly states that if she’s unfaithful to Li in any way, the shares revert back to his ownership, and even though just kissing isn’t adultery, it could imply it.

Bus-ted!

It turns out that Li does see the two of them in that hot smooching session and he reminds Gabi that she’s contractually obligated to be faithful to him. Otherwise, she loses the shares and even though she might have been hoping that Stefan would be jealous, he’s an astute businessman and thinks she should stick to the contract. Stefan and she later get a chance to talk privately and he comes up with a plan to manipulate Li together to become a power couple again.

Stefan knows she’s only signed up to stay with Li for business purposes, so they might have to reign in their passions for each other a bit longer. The problem is now, will they be able to, after being apart for so long?
