The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, will not be peaceful. She is teased to get into a major fight with her brother about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) considers Diane one of his new enemies. Her inability to deliver on the deal they agreed to, which included providing intel about Ashley’s past return to GC and Jabot’s financial information, made him mad.

Ashley believes Diane has pulled the soapy wool over Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) eyes once again. Tucker believed for months that Diane is a point of common ground with his ex-wife, Ashley.

Diane had a plan. She would use the information Tucker provided her with and use that to make contact with Jack.

The information was about Jack’s unknown granddaughter, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), whose father is the late Keemo Volien Abbott Nguyen (Philip Moon), who provided the link Diane needed. The real estate license Diane was using, under the name Taylor Jensen, allowed her to gain access to Keemo’s home. That drew Jack to Los Angeles, California, where the reveal happened.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) stood by Jack’s side at that point in the plot. But he soon discarded her and fell back in love with Diane, much to the chagrin of Stafford’s character, Ashley, and everyone else.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Clearing Her Head In Paris, France

Ashley was hedging her bets. She did not want to allow Tucker to worm his way back into her life. But she was curious.

Tucker is the most recent man Ashley married. She is the most recent woman he married. Their break was caused, in part, by Tucker cheating with Diane more than a decade ago.

Diane did not cause Ashley to fly to Paris in the recent past. Instead, her witness to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) exposure of his father’s duplicity proved too much to handle. So, Ashley decided to try and clear her head in the country where her mother also chose to live, apart from her family, many decades ago.

Tucker McCall Has Not Given Up

Tucker left a recent voicemail for Ashley. He requested to meet her in France for a brief get-together.

Ashley’s return to GC should result in Tucker gaining another chance to make amends. While her feelings have not magically transformed, it feels as though Jack’s alliance with Diane and Tucker’s long-range plan to use Walters’ character as a common energy source might be playing out.

Buzz indicates that Davidson’s initial plan is to trick Tucker into believing healing is possible. But she still has positive feelings for him, and the potential for their reconciliation and mutual fight against Diane and Jack has become plausible on Y&R.
